Your natural beehive products via our value chain!

The source of all hive products: a worker bee active in collecting nectar from a flower.

In order to maintain good product quality, we assess beekeepers through our standard MRA (Minimum Requirements Audit) before admitting them access to our value chain. We are delighted to work with the highly motivated and well-performing beekeepers.

Beekeepers who pass the entry check, get the status of “Admitted ABC supplier”. Each year before harvest we re-visit these beekeepers. Objective of a re-visit is to provide consultancy, check the apiaries, discuss prices and conditions and supply the clean buckets.

Beeswax export

Like the honey our beeswax is a pure natural product with no chemical residues. Quite a recommendation!

In our factory, the beeswax and honey are separated in the spinner. The empty combs are left behind in the nylon basket. These are melted at about 90 degrees Celsius ion our large wax melting tank. After settling the clean hot wax is poured into special wax moulds.

After solidifying and cooling the golden bees wax blocks are taken from the moulds. A block weighs around 7 kilogram. They are stacked on pallets, wrapped in foil and transported in sea containers.

Our bees wax is a highly valued export product.

Retail honey

The source of our honey is the wide variety of flowers. The green foraging areas are unspoilt and scarcely populated. The existing agriculture is extensive and hardly ever mechanized. The roads are unpaved and the houses are thatched huts. In general, the vegetation is abundant. Northern Uganda is an ecologically unspoilt gem. Hence the rare natural quality of our honey. Pure and sweet.

To maintain the purity of the honey, we dedicate much attention to training, apiary management and professional harvesting.

Our main task is to conserve the original taste and bring it to you in glass jars.

A Bees Company (WimRob Bees Company (U) ltd) received the Q-level status from the UNBS (Ugandan National Bureau of Standards).

Kenyan Top Bar Hives

After spinning the crushed honey, the empty combs stay in the nylon basket.

Our suppliers and other beekeepers buy their equipment from our hardware store. We offer everything a beekeeper needs, like bee suits, brushes, smokers, prise tools and, of course, hives.

We offer everything at the best quality/price ratio possible in East Africa.

For the hives we usually provide log hives and ktb’s (Kenyan Top Bar). We build these hives ourselves to ensure maximum quality and useful life. Our KTB hive is fully adapted and suitable for the Ugandan environment. It is easily put in position, easy to inspect, to clean and easy to harvest.

NGO’s do regularly contact us for a quotation for producing, shipping and installing larger quantities of hives and tools.
